"Annie" Procyk This photo of "Annie" the airedale wins our Grand Prize for best pet photo of 2000! Congratulations to Bobbi and Richard Procyk of Jupiter, Florida.

This is what "Annie's" mom says about the picture she sent us: "'Annie' is a two year old rescued airedale. She arrived into Airedale Rescue at the age of eight months having been badly abused by children and with a bullet hole in her side. Annie has adjusted beautifully to her new home and gets great joy out of every new thing she encounters, except for children, and with training and patience she will overcome that as well. She has also put new life into her eleven year old airedale "sister" and they enjoy several play periods each day. With her new life, Annie spends her days being socialized, doing some obedience training, and playing. Her favorite pastimes are eating and chasing lizards."
