Mrs. St. Peter writes, "Cherokee is a 7 year old rescue dog that had been in and out of the Shelter near Arcadia Fla. My Dad and Mom adopted him and he has been with them now about 5 1/2 years. My Dad had just learned how to e-mail when I was able to get that picture of Cherokee to enter for him; he has since mastered that!

My parents Betty and Bud Zorger live in Arcadia, Fla with a very spoiled Cherokee Zorger! Cherokee loves to ride in his Dad's golf cart all over their park with his hat and sunglasses on. He gets off to greet everyone and after a little attention, it's back on the cart for more people to meet and places to go.

Cherokee is one of the largest boned Dalmations I have ever seen; even so, Cherokee thinks he is a lap dog. My parents are in their 80's and nothing thrills them more than this dog's love and loyalty. Cherokee even smiles when people come to visit! This is one rescue dog that will never be without. Cherokee has the best of everything and always will, for he owns Betty and Bud Zorger, they do not own him! "
